He was Holding me

We sat on my bed
From corner to corner
Keeping a distance on what I said
He talked to another
While I sat in wonder
He won't acknowlege me, I thought
It'll be just like the past
When a paper egg
rolled at my leg.

I looked up and he was looking at me
"Pay back," said he
a smile across his face,
"Do you remember..."
"I remember"
His smiled more.

This was stupid
I'm wasting my time
To think about him
shouldn't be a dime
but little did I know,
He was still looking
at me
smiling.

One blink,
He was behind me
His arms around my bust
Holding me.

His body gave me warmth
His smile made me know
he cares.

We held onto each other
Until the light came on
and now I'm sitting
up right in my bed
my tears become a stream
it was just a dream.
