Well, I was talking to Kage last night, and he had just finished up the first day of the anime expo...he said it was ok. (I think he was holding back so I wouldn't feel bad for missing it.)
He also said he got me a Domo plushie/keychain thing...
That is so going on my Nintendo bag. That way, everyone can look at it, and go "What the ******** is that thing??!"

We are reverting back to the dark ages, in a sense. Multiple 5 to 4 votes in the Supreme Courts are ruling against women, limiting rights left and right. They're legislating from the bench... Favoring men and questioning why we have such a high role in society nowadays. One such example: They ruled in favor of unfair pay, men got more and they didn't give a damn. At least the lone woman in the SC is trying to fix this... But it's not going well.

Basically, four moderates are for women, four far-rights are against, and then there's the swing man. He COULD go either way, in theory, but he always goes against. Any time an issue of unfair treatment between women and men pops up, you can guess the result. These idiots think we have no right to do anything without their complete approval, just like medieval times. Most common political cartoon... It's four gavels vs. five stone hammers.

I'll tell you exactly why. I mean no direct offense to Christians by saying this, but...
They're the whole reason.
Women used to be revered as the closest to the gods, worshiped for being creators of life, highest in any political system. This was by the pagans. Then Judaism came along... They didn't really mind pagans, just another belief out there. It was completely ignored, acknowledged as neither good nor bad.
Then from Judaism spawned Christanity. Now, they viewed the pagans as and evil influence to their spread over the world that should be stopped. But nothing was truely done until the Romans came along and converted their entire country. They, being avid conquerers, soon invaded and claimed much of Europe.
Thus the crusades began. Massive killings and village burnings swept the countries, exterminating ant of the woman-worshiping pagans as they could find. Soon all were dead and hiding, and women were now officially lower than men. They were evil; it was Eve that committed original sin, then seduces Adam to eat as well.
Other religions came during this time. Islam, Hinduism, etc. Some took it to the extreme, as is a prime example with Islam, and Hinduism also was unfair to women. Judaism soon took this belief into their system as well.
Basically, while it began with Christianity, all major religions are at fault for adopting the belief.
