And it's so true. If Light was so smart, why didn't he just pretend to be a brian-dead idiot when L was investigating him. It would have made a lot more sense than that whole "cocky badass" thing he was trying to pull off. And he says he's such a good actor too.
That just proves that Light is a complete idiot and if L had known about the Death Note from the beginning, he would have kicked Light's a** instantly.
