I'm getting the no-movement blues. I even had to replace "www" with "clyde" in order to get into here and do today's journal entry.
Anyway, I've finally gotten sick of the Test Forum. I usually go in there to report spam and what not, but since the place becomes a cesspool of spam within hours, there really isn't a point anymore. Sure, I made friends with at least two of the mods just from this, but guess what? That's the only thing I got out of it.
I really tried for almost three months, but the people who go in there to post for gold that act like they can't read stickies because they don't have a brain just turn it into Chatterbox 2.0. I'm just not motivated to report crap there anymore, especially since there are a couple of people who go there to spam that I've warned four or five times and still haven't gotten the memo even after being repeatedly warned...the same people I expected to be banned for spamming the Test Forum over and over and not listening to the mods to stop the thread crapping are still roaming around free.
One of the mods actually agree with me, and actually supports tearing down the place so that people can test crap in Chatterbox. Hey, at least you get gold there. And since one of them not only agrees with me but also wants it killed, I might as well support help sinking this lead zeppelin.
I'm still gonna report stuff, but not from there. Once this place hits 20,000-something users, the Test Forum turns into a gathering place for the stupid.

It seems you really like helping out around the site, so maybe you should find a forum based on a hobby you really love, a forum you can really get involved with, and go from there. Then you can report all the misplaced threads you want, and at least you'd have some satisfication knowing you're helping clean up a forum you actually enjoy being in. It sounds like the Test forum only brings stress and eventually gets you nowhere with its consistent spamming.
