Cupids Reject

Who am I you ask?
I am the one with no love,
I have not yet been struck by a sacred arrow,
nor has anyone else who could possibly love me.
I am the single one,
sticking out in a crowd of couples.
When it was my turn to recieve the gift of love,
I was skipped.
There is no one who wants me,
and there is no one I can have.
I'm alone,
while others frollick in their togetherness.
When hearts were being mended,
mine was forgotten.
The chance of romance was taken from me,
and given to others who have already had their share.
If I've ever loved at all,
all I felt was pain,
and the joy was sucked away.
