A Story of Many Tales
A variety of things that I come up with. It could be a story over my role play character, something important that went on in my day...A place where I can post my poems and songs for all to see! Never thought I'd do this stuff, but since I'm doing it
A Mafia girl's Tale --- Trapped again: Chapter 6
“He/She started it!” they both said at once.

“She kicked me-!”

“He wouldn’t leave me alone-!”

“I was just talking to her about normal crap-!”

“He wouldn’t shut up after I told him to!”

“Well if you wouldn’t be so touchy then maybe I wouldn’t have persisted,” said Johnus, turning his hard gaze back to her.

“Well maybe if you weren’t so stupid you’d have a life-”

“Okay! Okay!” said Sean quickly, seeing Johnus bring his fist up again. “Johnus, set her down. We don’t need her asleep again.” With a growl at Tabina, Johnus did what he was told. He let go of her jacket and she felt herself hit the bed after a short fall, she looked as he turned away back to his chair with a pang of resent. “Couldn’t have done that a bit more nicely could you?” asked Sean sarcastically. “You okay Tabby?” he asked, turning his gaze to her. Tabina just glared at him. “You’re about to take me in and you want to know if I’m okay?” she asked quietly, steely coldness noticeable. “It’s not making me feel any better you know.” With that, she brought her legs onto the bed and turned her back on both of them, lowering her head so that she was looking squarely at the faintly stained pillow. She didn’t get it. He was talking to her like she hit her toe on the railings. She knew he was waiting to get her off his hands and collect his reward… That’s why I can’t move my hands freely, she thought bitterly, giving the chain another good tug before letting her hands fall limply in front of her with an unnoticed sigh.

Feeling someone behind her, Tabina turned her head slightly to look over her shoulder. She saw Sean standing there… But he looked different, a bit scary even.

(Sean’s mad…)

He gently put his fingers under her chin and turned her head towards him better. “It’s not something I want to do while you’re Tabina,” he said quietly so that only she would hear. “But you’re Lieanna too… My job as a Hunter is make sure filth like you is off our clean streets for good. While the rest of us make a hard earned living, you go around taking what we made ourselves… Despicable. So since it looks like you’re done being Tabby, I guess now I’ll treat you as Lieanna…” She couldn’t help but hear a little sadness in his tone. He must feel bad... Or disappointment. He even told her she was like a little sister to him…

She didn’t really know what he was feeling at the moment because her thoughts were interrupted as she felt his right arm go over the upper part of her torso to hold her forearms down, as his left hand unlocked the cuffs. Just as she tried moving her hands, his arm around her pushed her arms back. He grabbed her hands and held them behind her as she put the cuffs back on, a little tighter than preferred. He also produced a cloth from his sleeve, using it as a gag for her.

“We’ve got to meet someone to take you out of town… The guild here’s pathetic. As much as I’d love to make this quick and easy, we’ve got to get out to the other city to make sure all goes well,” said Sean, taking his arms off her as he stood to his full height. “So just sit tight for a bit longer and we’ll get this thing over with.” Looking over his shoulder, “Johnus, rag.” Johnus took the rag with ammonia out of his inner jacket pocket and tossed it over to Sean. Instead of covering her mouth and nose with it, Sean just waved the foul smelling under her nose while keeping her head still. “We don’t need you asleep just yet… But this will help calm you down some.” Tabina wrinkled her nose, not really smelling in the odor. She knew if she took another whiff it would keep her tipsy, but he wouldn’t seem to take it away until that happened…

Tabina let out a few fake coughs through the cloth, turning her head the other way as she blinked hazily a few times. She let her head droop a little as she made her upper body go limp, her eyes still open. “Oh sure, make me look like the bad guy here,” said Johnus exasperatedly. “You kept that thing under her nose for thirty seconds just to get her out of it enough…”

“Well you kept it on thirty seconds longer after she was unconscious, that’s worse,” said Sean, pulling the rag away and throwing it back and Johnus. “C’mon. Jarred said he’d be over at the west complex in ten. He’ll bring the van so we can get over to the next city so we can get her to the Station. Bring a coat, it’s pouring out there.”

“Yeah, yeah. Keep your blouse on Ma.”

Tabina heard the rustle of coats behind her as they got prepared to run out in the rain. She just sat there, staring at the sheets so she wouldn’t have to look anywhere else. It was kind of hard… She was still fully alert, but they couldn’t know that. Her guard couldn’t be let down in front of them anymore. After a bit and a few dramatic words of farewell from Johnus, Tabina heard the door shut. She turned her head to look behind her, seeing their figures walk away through the hazy window. A small sigh of relief escaped her. But what now?
