Just got my summer reading and there are some sucky books on here. Unfortunatley, since I'm in honors english (yea, I know, I'm actually somewhat smarter than I look), I have to pick from a shorter list of even more sucky books.
There's one good book on there: A Midsummer Night's Dream. That book is freakin hilarious! I'm already half-way through it.
But, unfortunately, I have to pick another one. I think I'm gonna read Don Quixote De La Mancha. It's about this medieval-ish dude who goes off to kill dragons, goes insane from reading too much (apparantly he didn't eat or sleep, he just read) and ends up killing windmills. Sounds like my kinda book.
It sucks that I can't pick books fromt he mainlist though, cuz I've read about 5 of them from it. I could totally do book reports from memory and never have to touch a book all summer. Grr...
O, and one of the books on here is Will Smith: The Actor. WTF?!?!?! Who the hell put that on there! Gosh, if they're gonna have his biography on there, they need to have John Cleese: The Actor. Woot to Monty Python!
