I am pro-choice. I am passionate. I own a pro-choice MySpace page; I am a volunteer for NARAL's Choice Action Network; I am trying to get more rallies to take place in South-eastern Wisconsin (my area). I am determined and very very devoted to this cause. And because I am, I have faced many levels of hate, anger, and negative attention. I've gotten phone calls to my home threatening my life. I've gotten e-mails, PM's, and instant messages, also threatening me or telling me what an awful person I am for all that I am doing.
But what's harming anyone?
I am giving information, spreading information, about abortion to everyone; men and women, pro-lifers, pro-choicers, the young, the old, whoever cares to look. I am not forcing anyone to do anything, nor am I attempting to sway anybody into the pro-choice favor if they are not already there. It is a personal decision to make to be pro-choice or not pro-choice, just like your choice of religion is a personal one. But I want you to know the facts, and what pro-choice IS and what it is NOT.
I'm not backing down from this; no matter what happens. I will NOT APOLOGIZE for being pro-choice and being passionate about it. I will not say "I'm sorry" for what I am doing, when nobody is negatively impacted from it.
So, PM me all you want; IM me all you want; Call me and e-mail me all you want. You're not changing my stance, and you are not going to get me to run away from this cause.
