Doodles
[Can't think of a title bad enough]
Originally this was going to the journal entry where I had you vote on which of my GAC av's you like best. Whichever won was going to be my quest av. But, then this week had to happen. Allow me to explain...

Tuesday
When I got home, I got online and was happy and junk. A little while later my brother got home and said, "Geri, go upstairs. Now." And I did my little "Why" thing and he got real mad and said, "Go. NOW!" and I was like, fine, whatever, just let me get my iBook and stuff. So I went upstairs for the next forty-five minutes or so.
A little while later I went to the stairs and called, "Patrick? Can I come down now?" He said I could, so I came down and bombarded him with questions about why I had to go upstairs. "Are you in trouble?" I asked, "Did you hurt someone?" (don't ask) and even, "Is someone stalking you?" But he said no to all of them. Whatever, I though, I'll find out later.
Then Amy called me on the phone and we talked for a couple minutes, then my stupid @$$ brother hung it up and said I couldn't use it.

That was Tuesday, but that's not the rough part. Well, not all of it. This requires an explanation. On to...

Wednesday
Wednesday was okay, went to school, did stuff, had fun, came home, ate dinner, went upstairs to take a shower. Well, a little while into my shower, my mom burst into the bathroom, saying, "Patrick?" (my brother) "No," I said. She rushed out again, slamming the door behind her. I shrugged and went back to doing... well, you know, shower stuff. A few moments later I heard my mom screaming and crying histerically. I turned off my shower, wrapped a towel around myself, went outside to see what was going on. By this time she had found Patrick and was trying to calm herself down.
You see, Patrick had said he had to use the bathroom. The downstairs one was busy, so he went to the Annex bathroom (In our house, on the first landing of the staircase, there is a door to another set of stairs, which leads to a room where my dad has put his office. It has a little freezer, a sink, a bathroom, a shower (all put in by the first owners). It also has two beds. This is our guest room.) I guess he must have taken a while, because Mom started looking for him and didn't expect him to be there. She couldn't find him and was really really scared. Now, this may seem like an overreaction to you, but if you give me a minute I'll explain.
I walked in and said, "Mom, what's wrong?" She was still crying a bit, but she stopped and said "I couldn't find your brother" or something like that. Patrick explained where he had been and she was okay. He went back downstairs and Mom came up to me and said, "You see, yesterday when Patrick sent you upstairs.." "What about it?" -And I am not lying about this. She said, "Well... he didn't try very hard, but he tried to kill himself. He sent you upstairs because he didn't want you to have nightmares about the blood."
The fact that he even thought about it was enough to scare the crap out of me.

Well, those were the only really rough things in the week, but I was so shocked I didn't really think to come online. Well, I did get poison ivy from my cat (don't ask) and I got my report card (don't ask).

NOW! Voluna, you are sworn to secrecy, understand? You will tell absolutely no one. As for Nowhereman, cobra hawking 2, you can tell anyone you want. You don't live near me (as far as I know), and almost no one who actually knows me in person is on this site.

And... I can't really think of a way to end this. I guess I'll post the avis in my next entry, maybe even some pictures. I gotta get some courage first, though. So, I'm off to see the Wizard.

Ciao!
*skips down the yellow brick road, humming*

Oh my god Geri! You brother tried to commit suicide??? Why did he want to do that??? Hasn't he though how selfish it was of him to even consider the posibility?

And don't worry, I swear that I wont tell ANYONE... you might wanna issue a thought to Amy too.

Well, I think it's because... he's got Asberger's Disorder (Don't ask, I have no idea what it means) and... well, he seems to think we don't care about him or something, because things tend to be easier for me...

But don't worry. Amy already knows, and I told her that if she tells... well, there'll be trouble, I'll tell you that. wink

Do you mean Asperger's Disorder???

AKA this-

A condition where young children experience impaired social interactions and develop limited repetitive patterns of behavior. Motor milestones may be delayed and clumsiness is often observed.
The child with Asperger's shows below-average nonverbal communication gestures, fails to develop peer relationships, has an inability to express pleasure in other people's happiness, and lacks the ability to reciprocate emotionally in normal social interactions. The condition appears to be more common in boys. There are likely genetic factors, but some theories suggest a prenatal infection may be to blame.
While people with Asperger's syndrome are frequently socially inept, many have above average intelligence and they may excel in fields like computer programming and science.

Symptons:
Abnormal nonverbal communication, such as problems with eye contact, facial expressions, body postures, or gestures.
Failure to develop peer relationships.
Scapegoating by other children as "weird" or "strange".
Lack of spontaneous seeking to share enjoyment, interests or achievements with other people (e.g., by a lack of showing, bringing, or pointing out objects of interest to other people).
Markedly impaired expression of pleasure in other people's happiness.
Inability to return social or emotional feelings.
Inflexible about changes in specific routines or rituals.
Repetitive finger flapping, twisting, or whole body movements.
Preoccupation with restricted areas of interest (unusually narrow or unusually intense). Some examples are obsession with train schedules, phone books, stamp collecting, or other collections of objects.
Preoccupation with parts of whole objects.
Repetitive behaviors, including repetitive self-injurious behavior.
There is no general delay in language.
There is no delay in cognitive development, or in the development of age-appropriate self-help skills or in curiosity about the environment.

Actually... I got the facts for Asperger's Disorder off the internet, it's actually said to be quite common and belonging to a group of much more dangerous diseases(this is actually considered rather mild compared to some of the other disorders belonging in that group)....

and in other stuffs... stressed HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF STALKING!!!
