So, the other day we went to see the HP Mooveh, numbah five.
It sucked.
It was only lightly connected to the book and deviated from about half the plotline. It was all twisted to have as much dramatic effect as possible, to the point of cheesiness and nonsense.
Here's how it went, basically: Harry is bored in a park. Dudley goes, "raaawr!" They are attacked. Harry is whisked away to the Black abode. Suddenly they're on the train. Harry has a hallucination. OMG! DRAGONHORSE! This girl is cuckoo. Eeek! Evil woman! SIRIUS IS IN TROUBLE! Everyone, quick, climb onto these invisible things without asking any questions! We broke into the top secret area of the Ministry without any trouble whatsoever! AAAGH! EVIL DUDES! oooh no someone diiiiiiiiies.... He's still dying.... why isn't he dead yet, dammit? *cry* Voldemort pops up. "I AM EVUL."
Dumbledore is suddenly there! "OH NO YOU DIDN'!" EXPLODING SAND!!!!!!!!!! Harry is the Dark Lord for a moment. "GRAAAWR I IS EVIL YUUU SUCKZZ LUUK AT THESE FLASHY THINGS!!!!!" End movie. Yaaaay all is well.
