Rahatani was sitting in bed the morning following the little “incident” with Rune. Lee still hadn’t come back from the club at four a.m., like he normally did, when she woke up at seven. Raha decided to wait for him to come home and was reading a book to pass the time.
Then, she heard the bedroom door open up and heard Lee walk in. Even from the bed, she could smell his reeking clothes; alcohol must have drenched them all through.
Oh Gods, he’s going to make me pull out the “Big Scary Raha” routine, she thought exasperatedly, swinging her legs over the edge of the bed and standing at full height. As he rounded the corner to the bedroom, she slammed the book down on the desk between their beds, making him jump a good three or four inches in the air. Satisfied that she had gotten his attention, she put on the most wicked, “oh you have no idea how much you’re gonna get it” face and politely asked Lee, “Where were you last night?”
As he responded, she got a good look at him: he was barely dressed, had rings around his eyes, and had the guiltiest look on his face. He stammered as he spoke, “Oh y-you know…. O-out.”
Oh no… doesn’t he know to never lie to me? Ah well… must fix that little error. Striding across the room quicker than Lee had ever seen her move, Raha grabbed him by the throat, lifted him up high enough so that her arm was completely extended, and pinned him against the wall. Before he had time to exclaim any kind of pain or affront at her actions, she sent an electrical current through his body, healed him, and did it again. After doing this several times and alternately listening to his screams of pain and his cries for mercy, Raha examined her nails on the free hand, asking him calmly, “Are you done lying?”
Lee nodded and spoke fearfully, “Yes… can I please have the feeling below my hips back?”
She rolled her eyes dramatically, muttering, “well, I guess Mom would want the family name continued.” Releasing him, Raha sat back down on the bed and spoke to him, “So… where were you really last night?”
Lee sat down on the floor opposite Raha and went onto explaining about how he had been going to bars and gotten so drunk that he slept with Serafina, but never said her name. “And this morning I woke up and she told me to come back and tell Sakura how I really feel.” Lee looked up at Raha, expecting her to hurt him, but instead she just spoke calmly, “She’s right. Rune wasn’t really the guy Sakura thought he was and she really wants you.
“Look…I think you need to know something. Sakura should be the one to tell you, but you need to know sooner than later.” Rahatani then went onto explaining everything that Sakura and Nyoko told them, along with what she knew. “So, we put Rune with some hooker and made it look like he was so s**t-faced that he doesn’t remember what ‘really’ happened.” Raha then got up and fixed her bedsheets and her pillow, but stopped mid-action and looked back down at a completely floored Lee. “And by the way, I’m not going to hurt you anymore. You told me the truth and I trust that you’ll tell her… little brother.”
When Rahatani turned her back to him, Lee’s eyes went wide. She had never called him “little brother”. Sure, she referenced him as her little brother, but never actually “called” him that. Trying his best to suppress a smile, he looked the picture of innocence as she turned back to face him and stated authoritatively, “And honestly, you can’t go back out in public looking – excuse me, smelling – like that. Honestly, you represent this family. Shower and change, now. Our flight leaves tonight, so make sure you pack everything you want.”
Lee nodded and got back to his feet, striding to the bathroom to do what his “big sister” instructed. Thinking these things, he smiled and blasted the water, not noticing that it was freezing.

Sakura was standing in the hotel’s foyer with her suitcase at her feet and the other students were there with their luggage as well. Nyoko was talking with a group of girls and Rahatani was close by, glaring hard at any guy that decided to sneak a peek at Nyoko. She glanced down at her watch and saw the time: 3:45. Their flight boarded at 6:10.
Sakura then saw Lee come down with his suitcase and walk in her direction. She took a deep breath and thought to herself as Lee stopped in front of her. Okay. Just tell him how you feel. After last night, you really need to get a move on.
Lee interrupted her thoughts by starting to say, "Sakura… I need to tell you something.”
She responded with a slightly-choked voice, “I need to tell you something too.”
"Oh, you first, it's all right." Lee graciously offered.
"No, no, you first, I'm sure it's important!" Sakura replied, now blushing furiously as she realized that every pair of eyes was slowly focusing on them, listening to what they had to say; the entire class, Nyoko and Raha included, went silent.
Lee and Sakura stared at each other for a moment, then said the same three words simultaneously, “I love you.” Lee gave a smile and Sakura gave hers in response. Her smile became a grin and she threw herself into his arms. Sakura wrapped her arms around Lee’s neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist. They then looked into each other’s eyes with smiles on their faces and brought their lips together. The moment that they both had dreamed about had finally come true.
When they broke the kiss, they looked at the other students to see them all either, smiling, crying, or glaring at them. After several seconds of silence, the sound of Nyoko’s happy-go-lucky voice broke it. “Took you two long enough!” she said out loud before the class began to clap.
Lee and Sakura looked at each other with a smile and then joined Nyoko and Rahatani with their hands interlocked. Sakura began to giggle as Lee leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Y'know, for a complete disaster, it wasn't a bad vacation, really."
