Settles in the moonlight,
Shivering tides
Dress the cool essence.
White starlight
Glitters across the lake,
Passionate fireflies
Illuminating its core.
Sweet melodies
Develop with emotion,
The soft voice
Envelops the memories.
Silver threads
Reflect in shadow,
Subtle beauty
Drifts over delicate sorrow.
Gentle wine
Pours down like soft lace,
It's bitter drops
Mixing with waterfalls.
And my warm tears
Streak down my face,
Every new line
Burns in painful yearning.
I'm on the edge of breaking,
It's all so alluring.
I can't hold myself together,
It's all so forbidden.
