I have discovered an ancient tome on gnomes. It was written on a tissue and stuck to my shoe. It says that gnomes do not actually smoke pipes. The things that gnomes have in their mouths are actually tonges. The gnomes have evolved to look like they are smoking pipes, since they are deathly allergic to Briar. In fact if a gnome ever touches this type of wood, they will combust instantly. This is due to the fat that gnomes have a heart made of fire..or is it wood...or maybe pitch...or fine smokables...the tome is not very clear on this point since the word became smudged when I blew my nose on it. This makes one thing clear, your mouth will be gnome free if you have a pipe in it.
