Tainted Wishes, Forgotten Dreams
The profiles for my characters within this Guild, and perhaps the occasional comment on Guild happenings.
Darius

User Image
Age: He is as old as both Damion and Ire, but he was also created only recently.
Race: Demon
Origin: He came from the minds of Damion and Ire.
Allegiance: Selene
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Weapons:
Curved Blade: A curved, hooked sword of Demonic origin, resembling that of the Middle Eastern scimitar. It seems to be especially useful for channeling Demonic magic.
Abilities:
Stamina: (See Damion)

Pain: (See Ire)

Memories: This forces a person’s most painful memories to the forefront of their mind, to be relived. Though the person has not actually gone back in time, many believe that they can somehow change the events of their memories and consequently go insane with longing and regret.

Flame: A sort of grouping of techniques exclusive to Darius. Differently colored Flames, all of his creation, allow him to use many different kinds of abilities.
Green Flame: Fire that both burns and freezes on contact. The first thing its victims will feel is the intense cold, an aura that radiates around the Flame and slowly freezes its surroundings. This is quickly followed by unbearable heat, which will only affect you after the Flame has been used in an attack against you.
Purple Flame: A fire that heals, though only Darius can gain the benefits of its effects.
Black Flame: Used for protection; it forms a barrier of fire around the wielder that is inpenetrable.

Benevolence: This results in more of Damion’s personality being in control. Useful against Damin's former allies, and imbued with a natural ability to sway those on the side of Light to accept him. Whether this is simply Damion's character or an actual ability is unknown, and unimportant.

Wrath: This results in more of Ire’s personality being in control. It sends Darius into an autofight mode with nothing more than self-preservation in mind. He is prone to killing those in his path when using this technique.

Teleportation: A recently discovered ability that is currently unpredictable, but seems to come in handy when strictly necessary.

Bio:
In the Past
The past? I’d love to tell you all the juicy details, but the past is not something that exists for me.
Recently
Ire has sensed its arrival for much longer than Damion, though I am positive that neither of them sensed the true implications. Damion and Ire—those are the names my originators (dear, dear, this is complicated) were called by, yes?—both thought that it meant Ire’s full control at last. In a way it did. His will has always been stronger, because he is driving by ambition. I do not believe that Damion yet knows what drives him. However, it matters very little now as neither of them are present any longer. Do they exist? I’m not sure how to answer that. In some small way, yes, as their personalities and knowledge are still vaguely present in my own mind and they influence the way I act and the choices I make. And yet they most certainly do not exist in all practical sense of the word, for neither have a corporeal form, and I am sure that they will not cause me to develop a multiple personality disorder, as they caused each other to do (sort of...even their own strange bond is difficult to explain, and I will admit that I do not understand it entirely myself), so they cannot even be classified as “voices in my head.”
Oh my, that is a bit confusing, isn’t it? How to be more specific....there is no simple way to put it, but I shall word it the best I can: Damion and Ire have merged into one, and in doing so they birthed me—and unfortunately their conflicting personalities and viewpoints make me very prone to mood swings.
I am Darius, the final form of the two-sided coin that formed the Deadly Sin and his Container. I have no past, I disregard my present, and my future is not on my list of concerns; after all, for one who has not existed until a very short while ago, the world does not seem to be a permanent place.
Now Nathanial has come. Selene tells me that Damion may be a useful shield against him, but I wonder: could the Proclaimer destroy that which is neither good nor evil? That which lives merely to live....
Now
Selene has arisen and Chaos has arrived. There is no basic way to describe the elation I feel; there is an immense sense of joy in me that soon evil will rule the earth. I am not sure why I have chosen to side with these two; perhaps it is their power that lures me, or the fact that they will be an entertaining pair to ally myself with. And I do feel a level of respect for dear, dear Selene, who is a power even I would not be bold enough to rise against. I suppose now I must simply wait, and see how the story unfolds.
