I repaired the computer chair and hemmed something yesterday. Now we don't need a new chair because the stuffing's not falling out any more.
Today I scored 4000 points in one hand of Canasta. Six natural canastas, one mixed and and two red threes.
The other day I improved my pirate costume too. xd I was worried that it would not be warm enough for the Writers Guild Halloween Bar Crawl during October but I don't think I need to worry about that any more. It's rather warm.
I also resurrected one of my mules and using it, wrote a little story for someone. I won 2000 gold.
Here is the story, just in case any body's interested.
In the Little Story I
"What is this place?" asked Princess Kari screwing up her pretty little nose, "It's simply disgusting." The Princess was doing her best to fan the pungent mists away from herself as they stood in the mud at the entrance to the alley-way.
"Highness, the rebels are planning a coup. We must take you to safety immediately," hissed one of the guards in her escort.
"But here? You don't honestly expect me to walk through that do you?"
"Highness, you are an easy target for the enemy, you must go into hiding."
"But I'm in disguise!"
The guards regarded her. It was true that the Princess had donned half of the clothing in her wardrobe in an attempt to hide her identity but she had insisted on wearing the Imperial robes and her trade-mark sun hat. She was currently staring at a puddle as though it might do something offensive at any moment. The Princess wasn't really paying attention to the guard's conversation. The talk of commoners held no interest for her.
Had it done so, she might have heard the murmured words "easier if she were unconscious." As it happened, all she was aware of were a sudden, dull pain in the back of her skull and the puddle rising up to meet her before the world went dark.

It's for somebody's avatar and will probably be in the arena next week. I've never written anything on Gaia before. Also, it's the first time in ages that I've actually started and finished a story. Go me.
Now I've bought even more eye-watering pink and yellow stuff for my mule.
