Entry #39
Two lovers, hand in hand
Both hidden beneath silk petals
Their joining - invisible -
to the human eye

The filament of the male,
is delicate, but strong

The stigma of the female,
is selective, but accepting

Both hidden beneath silk petals
The peduncle of their love-
lifts them, supports them

Until the day, the petals part -
and their love may blossom

*Note: I would normally act like my English teacher and say, "Figure this poem out yourself," BUT she happens to expect a lot and I know it. SO, if you'd like to truly think about this poem's meaning and/or just for your information, I recommend looking at an explaination of a flower's anatomy.

Simply wonderful; although I expect nothing less from you, Shime.

As for the relavence... I would say it is indeed the life and routine of a flower, one which is in the process of spreading it's pollen and seeds, allowing blossom to another birth of Mother Nature to give this planet the life it struggles so hard to protect.
The seeds and pollen clasp together with in a flora's bud, only to be let loose from the wind, and soon part into seperate directions. the seeds sproout onto grounds and blossom a new flower, fragrant, repeating the proccess of life's cycle, such as man-kind would repreat their life cycle in the process of loving eachother, giving life to a new child only to do the same as time goes by.

This poem oddly reminds me of the Fish story Chickie sent me xd , you know what story I'm referring too, so don't ask, just don't ask.

If we were in english class, she'd make us analyze that poem until there's nothing left to analyze.

Very thoughtful poem, in my opinion it sounds like a mixture between Emerson and Whitman. You capture the essence of nature well, yet the writing is slightly raw and feral in a subtle kind of way, contradictary I know. Sorry x.x all this studying for finals has definitely affected my brain.

Anyhow, see you in school tomorrow dear.

Oh we should go get icecream or something afterschool on Thursday in celebration of the ending of the Junior year...finally! whee heart
