*It was 3rd hour Envirimental science in my school today and we were testing the resperation (aka breathing) rate of a live goldfish to cold and warm temps. We wrote down the goldfish's breathing rate to cold water yesterday by filling a big beaker with ice then set the smaller beaker that had the mini goldfish. The class was put in pairs of two and did the same lab anywaywe tested the goldfish's breathing rate by adding warm water today but 2 students in my class didn't listen and almost took it over the ege*
moron1: I think we'r to set the beaker with the fish on here
*puts the small beaker that has the mini goldfish on something that looks like a yellow mini metal stove*
moron2: yeah lets cook em, lets cook em!
*I happen to know what were about to do since they were doing their lab at a table that was near me and my partners table lab.
me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! burning_eyes STOP!!!!!!that's not what Mr. H said!!!!!!!!!!
*moron 1 looking at me confused*
moron 1: you sure? I think we'r supposed to
me: we'r to add hot water into the larger beaker with the smaller beaker that has the fish not roast them!!!
moron 2: ignore her she doesn't know anything *about to turn the mini yellow stove on*
*I call mr. H*
me: mr. H they'r not to be warming the smaller beakers water this way right? *points to the 2 ideot students*
Mr. H: no we'r to add warm water to the larger beaker that has the smaller beaker with the fish
*the morons listen*
Note: We were to warm the water by heating water up with the yellow stove in a differant small beaker, wait till the water temp heated up to 30 degree then slowly pour the hot water into the larger beaker that had the smaller beaker containing the fish
