what do you see? (most recent short poem) When you look at me What do you see? I smile when I’m full of sorrow I run when I scream in pain I laugh when I weep and cry I’m full of life when I want to die So when you look at me What now do you really see? You love my mask But you’ll never know me Don’t search too deep You’ll hate what you see
