I work every other weekend, and this happens to be the weekend I'm supposed to work. This month has been an extremely busy month, and still is. I don't get a break until November 3rd.
I promised my friends that I would go and see them perform in the play "Dracula" on Saturday, so I asked if I could have this weekend off of work. I wanted to go to the Fear Feast at Wonderland on Sunday with a friend too.
I always cover for anyone who can't make it to work because they're sick or they really need a day off. This time when I ask for it, they can't give me a single day off. NO ONE is able to cover for me. Cedric was the last one to ask, and he said he wouldn't cover for me. I asked him to at least work for the second half of Saturday and he said okay.
Today, he says that he wants the last hour off and tells me to go back to work after the play ends. There's no point in going back for the last hour. He decides he wants to go to a party with a friend at the last minute. Someone HAS to cover the cash register or else I can't go, and I'm one of the very few people who know how to.
Another problem with the party thing is that first, Cedric likes me, but I don't like him, and he doesn't know that. He HATES or hated Amy who works there too, but today we were all having fun and now he decides he wants to go to the party with her this weekend, and that's why he can't do my last hour. What a jerk!
At least we're going to the zoo tomorrow. Hopefully that'll cheer me up!
It's funny because the grade12's want to go to the zoo, so they bugged the grade11 biology class to take us with them. Only four of us out of a class of nine paid.
Today, there was a field trip for the religion class. I didn't go. They were on the bus and they got to their destination, Toronto, when a police car is after them. They pulled over to the side and said that everyone on the bus was arrested. It turns out that some of the students were doing marijuana on the bus, and wouldn't admit to it, so they turned the bus around and came back to school. When they got back, the students involved in the marijuana confessed and are punished. Everyone else went straight home after.
