Longaberger Basket Bingo
So yeah, I had to go to the high school on Saturday at 3:00 PM to start getting prepared for the bingo which in fact, started at 6:30 PM. WTF!? Anyways, we get prepared and then I get into my station as concession stand guy, with a few other people and we wait about an hour before people start coming. I am assigned cashier, because Mrs. Penton said I'm smart blaugh Then the mob comes, and we sell all sorts of stuff, but it got really confusing cause some people ordered something, but no one but myself was listening so I had to remember what they ordered, how much each thing was, and total it all up in my head. Then I have to turn around to the people and tell them what was ordered, and I forgot multiple times, and I kept forgetting the total price, and it pissed me off. But that was only at the beginning. I think I overcharged one person and undercharged another, so it balanced itself out in the end. Then the bingo starts and we don't do much of anything for like hours! There were 27 baskets to give, so it took literally all night, it ended at 10:30 PM. That pissed me off, but I got free coffee and cake. There were some pretty funny things that happened though to make it worth while and fun, so it wasn't all bad, I met a few people I didn't really know too well, and it was overall a fun time, but I complained a lot too because I had to stand the whole time. Apparantly some people (Derrick, Seth, Russel, etc) egged some other peoples cars (Jen, Michael, etc) and they were pissed off, and some things happened that I don't wanna explain here. etc = I don't know any more. I can't believe how long it went though, oh well, there's 50 points for renaissance!
