Pain

Pain hurts.
Fire burns.
The memory, in my mind it turns.
Without you here, I might go insane.
What can I say?
My heart is to blame.

Blades cut.
Wounds heal.
My heart, it hurts, the more I feel.
The more I feel, the more you drift away.
I feel there is a price,
A price I must pay.

You are gone.
I can't take it.
With your absence, my heart, you break it.
My heart is in two, but you don't care.
The longer you are gone, longer I bare,
The pain you've created.
The pain you deserve to share.
