In a certain city, there were three sisters that were the most powerful citizens in the city. Saffron and Cora ran the town with an iron fist, but their sister Laexite stuck to the shadows. The first two were often seen arguing with her late at night about their laws, so many of them unfair. But, as powerful (and dysfunctional) as the sisters were, they had a secret. While Saffron and Cora's power was only political, Laexite had something more, and when the townspeople accidentally found out, Laexite, who had always been better liked than her sisters, went from one of the three most powerful people in the town to a goddess in the course of a few seconds. Soon the people had a hunger for one leader: Laexite. Saffron and Cora saw their power diminishing and decided something had to be done. Once the had a chance, they made sure she "disappeared" as mysteriously as their parents once had. The pair quickly moved on, adopting a girl named Autumn and acting the parts of loving guardians. But once Autumn turns 15, she will find her own strange abilities lying in wait for her to use them. The result may be more than Saffron and Cora can handle.
