After reading The Secret Garden 3 times, Autumn decided it was time to face: the birthday. She knew there would be parts to it; The time when she would find a large amount of money and a house key on the kitchen table with a note from Cora saying something like: Spoil Yourself!, the time after her exhausting shopping spree where she would go out and relax on the balcony overlooking White Silk Pond, the frantic time where Leila would be banging pots and pans and the maids would both be cleaning the windows loudly and Autumn would unpack everything she bought. Eventually, she'd sit down with Saffron and Cora for dinner, but it didn't really make a difference. So Autumn decided to go downstairs and see what was on the kitchen table. When she got downstairs, she saw a gilded coin purse laying on the table. Looking inside, she nearly dropped it. Ten one hundred dollar bills floated out, along with a piece of purple paper. Picking it up, Autumn read: A Little More than Usual. Use it well! Signed, Saffron and Cora. She shrugged, put everything back, and headed out the door.
