I only saw Ken maybe 3 more times before he died. He stayed with this woman Nancy. He sent a couple of birthday checks for me but they always bounced.
I was 30 when I got the call that he was in the hospital. He went in with a stomach pain. They
opened him up and found his colon engulfed with Ecoli bacteria. With a lot of thought I went to the hospital. He didn't deserve my time, but I didn't want to feel any regrets. I realized I was human being, I could feel pain, guilt, sorrow but he could not. So I had to do it.
He was on life support awake in pain like Ive never seen. They could not sew up his stomach, the bacteria was eating the skin. He layed there open and every 3 hrs. they poured pure alcohol on it trying to kill the bacteria. He would shutter and actually bite the tube in his mouth so hard he bit through it. A few days later I sat with him. I didn't talk much, there wasn't anything to talk about. He started doing something strange under the covers with his arms.
He stared at me moving his arms, I looked under the sheet at his hand and his thumb was pointing to his private area. God help me I said, but I had to look. I pulled the sheet back and gasped. His balls were bigger than grape fruits, the color was red and purple. I got the nurse, she got the surgeon. He went back into surgery. The surgeon came in to talk to me after it over and said he barely put the the knife on it, and it opened pouring out infection. He said he has never seen anything like this.
He died after 30 days on life support, the infection filled his body. My sister and I were there. Nancy left the room, she said she couldn't be there. Funny to me. The children he hurt so much were able to sit there.
The specialist said the only way he could have got something like this, was some weird sexual acts, it started in his colon.
Isn't it strange, the one thing he could not keep in pants, is the thing that killed him.
We don't need revenge on those who hurt us....God will take care of it.
