The Journey Ahead

But where does he find the light he seeks?
With no compass to guild, with no map to follow and no one to ask,
How can he find his light without knowing where to find it?
Does he find it out of pure luck or is there a method to the madness,
Is there tracks he can follow, of some lucky traveler who has found his?
And if he follows those tracks, what safeguards does he have that it will glow the same for him.

All that protects, safeguards his passage,
Is his instincts, his past and his desire to find his light
But there is something else, a voice.
This voice had been with him since the beginning and will be with him to the end.
It was this voice that guided him while his light faded and crumbled away,
It was in it, that he found his strength to search for a path to a new light,
Safeguard his passage from those who would seek to change his course,
And bring in others who would light his path.

With the night bring its dark veil to his path, the,
And what seems like more darkness for his pilgrimage,
Has, in turn, make his light be seen at a distance,
To which he sets his compass and plot his path,
As he waits for the sun to rise, he prepares and rests,
Before he sets out on the journey ahead.
