I look into the eyes of a man I once loved
His heart free, but soul grounded by the thought above.
His love, his heart, his girl, his life
Looks and turns toward another
His eyes suddenly fade
The beating of his heart skips a beat
He can barely breath
Now as he lies alone watching. . . watching hard with growing hate
his love and the other unaware of his presence
Its sad how he dies in the eyes of the two
His love never again to return
The other laughs as he jams to this lover's beat.
