Time for the special episode that comes after the first that always introduces the characters of the story in some way or form. Guess what? I'm doing that!

Fenix was carrying the team's luggage. Everyone's luggage was on each arm and on his back. He did this to train himself and to be polite. It was his goal to get stronger through pushing yourself to the limit, as it was Might Guy's philosophy. Unfortunately, Fenix trained under Might Guy as a Genin and learned this philosophy from him; because he trained under Guy, he acquired numerous taijutsu skills. The result to acquiring these skills and to strengthen them, Fenix Ethan challenges himself.

Rin and Asuka travel a few feet behind Fenix as he trudges on with his three packs. They weren't going slow or fast, but they went just the right speed. Rin Ethan was married to no one other than Fenix. She and Fenix trained under Guy, and they've loved each other ever since they met up. Fighting each other in the Chunin Exams didn't help, but they got over it since both showed enough wisdom and skill to become chunin. After that, they dated and went out for three years until their marriage age came up. Then Fenix popped the question, oddly, in the middle of a mission. She excepted and this would be their first mission as spouses. But they are both crucial to each other. Rin is the genjutsu specialist with some weapons and scarce ninjutsu; Fenix is the taijutsu, weapons, and medical nin; Asuka is the ninjutsu specialist with few taijutsu and some genjutsu.

Asuka, on the other hand, was single. She loved one man, and one man only. That was Toukun from the Chunin Exams. Without her by her side, she could not cope in a marriage. She goes to her genin trainer Kurenai for assistance in her troubles of love. It helps most of the time.

The team is of two eighteen-year-olds and one seventeen-year-old. The seventeen-year-old being Asuka. They finally arrive at the halfway point at a hotel when the sun hit the west horizon. The team ordered a two bed room, but they already had a room reserved and paid for, courtesy of the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

When they got up to their room on the second floor, Fenix immediately dropped everything. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "That stuff was heavy!" He stretched out to get all the cricks out of his body.

"Oh hush!" Rin said. "It's just a few things." She went to her bag and took out a scrool. She put the scroll on a table then spread it out. Inside the scroll's contents was a map. It mapped out the way from the Land of Fire to the Land of the Whirlpool. "Let's see, we're right here. So, we need to travel this road to get to the region," Rin stated as she traced her finger along the roads. She left it out for the rest of the team to see for a while. After they all memorized the route, Rin put up the scroll back in her bag. "Alright, let's go to sleep. Asuka and I have a bed while Fenix, you have your own." They all got dressed for bed and slept in their beds for the night.

Meanwhile, in the Akatsuki hideout, two shinobi with slashed symbol headbands are sitting across from each other at a table. One with a huge saw-looking sword on his back said, "Alright! We know how to get into the Land of the Whirlpool now! Let's take off Sindri!"

The other guy with a metal mask covering his whole face except a small visor for his eyes said, "..."

"You're right! We need to have a party. But after we find the secret in the Land of the Whirlpool! Come on!" the first man yelled. His voice sounded robotic and sort of metallic. This was a from a mask that covered his mouth from ear to ear. Two oxygen converters jut out at each jaw bone connector. His shinobi headband was of a scratched out Sand Village symbol. The symbol was an hour glass with a block on top of it.

Sindri was pulled by the first man out of the hideout. They head toward the Land of the Whirlpool with a purpose. Sindri's face was fully covered except for his ears, headband, and hair. His headband showed a scratched out Mist Village symbol. The was four curved lines. Two on top, and two on bottom.

These two shinobi were the ones who went against the Akatsuki. They wanted to work on their own to gain power at any cost. They even stole from this dark organization to gain power for themselves. If they were going to the Land of the Whirlpool, then they would be trouble for the Fenrinasu Team.

Okay, still doing a small job on these. They aren't very long right now. But hey, we haven't gotten to the fight chapters yet! Just hold on a second will you? Okay, rant finished. Next chapter comes tomorrow!
