Okay, this is just a small fanfiction my friend wants me to do. I'll do this and another after it, hopefully. And um... I hope you enjoy it as my friend probably will. This fanfiction is based off of a Role Play we were in and a dream he had. The time setting is 3 years after the time skip. So that's 6 years after Chunin exams for Naruto.

Fenix, Rin, and Asuka came up to the hokage. She told them in a loud voice, "Team Fenrinasu! I have a mission for you three. An S-ranked mission. Do you think you can handle it?"

Fenix was the first to shout out, "Of course! As long as we believe and work as a team then nothing can beat us!"

The hokage said, "That's good to hear. But you'll need more than just those two. You need brains. I'm more than certain that you three have that."

"What's the mission?" Rin asked very calmly after the hokage was finished.

"The mission is to protect the Land of the Whirlpool," Tsunade explained, "from the S-ranked shinobi Toukun."

Fenix, Rin, and Asuka pondered for a moment. They've heard that name somewhere before. But where? Then they all shouted at once, "Toukun? He was a the Chunin exams!"

"Yes, he was. But Sindri took him to train with Orochimaru. After a few years then they left to join the Akatsuki. You now see what's coming next."

Fenix started, "I see. So, I guess we have to kill him, right?"

"Well, we just want the land to be protected. No one needs to be killed or captured," the hokage said with sternness in her voice. She knew about Fenix and Toukun's rivalry.

Asuka remained quiet for the rest of the meeting. Rin then said, very confused with herself, "But... I thought the Land of the Whirlpool was barren. Didn't it die out quite a few years ago?"

Tsunade then explained, "No, we all thought that. But I guess Toukun and Sindri found it. They found evidence that it still exists. But they don't know where it is or how to get there. They just know it's region and they're going to go back to find the entrance."

"Okay," Rin said, understanding everything now.

"We'll take the mission!" Fenix exlaimed.

Tsunade handed them a scroll while saying, "Here is where you to be going. You'll need to go by foot. If you absolutely must kill the two shinobi. Then do it. I don't want a failed report! You hear me?" She got louder as she dragged on.

The three ninja stood straight up, shouting together, "Ma'am! Yes ma'am!" They filed out to gather their things up at their homes.

Asuka took the longest to get ready. She had liked Toukun a lot in the Chunin exams. She couldn't believe that she now had to face him. Hopefully, she wouldn't have to.

The team met up at the village gate, with Asuka coming up at the last moment. "Hurry up, Asuka! You're holding us up!" Fenix yelled.

"Coming!" Asuka shouted back. Once she got to them they left off for the Land of the Whirlpool.

I do not know anything about the Land of the Whirlpool except that it did die out a long while ago, and that Naruto's mother was a shinobi there. That's all I know. If you have anymore information then please contact me or just tell me. I promise you, the knowledge you give me will make this fanfiction a lot better.
