For those noobs out there who don't know what Ruro Ken is, it's an anime/manga that is just plain awesome.

For the noobs, please read the following for an overview of the beginning.

The story takes place in the Meiji era of Japan. The main character is a wandering swordsman named Kenshin Himura. First thing in the story, he meets up with a young woman named Kaoru Kamiya, an instructor at a swords dojo (wooden swords, though), who kinda knocks Kenshin about a bit, thinking he's someone else, causing some bloody cuts, a few bumps and bruises, and the classic spiral eyes. xd <---(his face kinda looks like this when that happens, only with rotating spirals)

Kenshin, despite his almost cowardly attitude, is a very caring and kind guy who 'just happens' to have a reverse-blade sword, meaning that the blunt side of the blade is where the sharp part should be and vice versa confused . But as it turns out, Kenshin used to be the legendary swordsman, 'Battosai the Manslayer' ninja , and sometimes his personality reverts back to the part of himself that is Battosai, gaining great speed and power with the sword and also losing his will to uphold his oath to never kill again gonk , but he goes back eventually.

Of course, knowing that this story is a romantic comedy, Kenshin and Kaoru end up liking each other heart , but Kaoru is the one that actually knows it while Kenshin just brushes it off as her personality. As usual, this gets them into lots of complicated situations which sometimes lead to kidnappings eek , getting bashed on the head xp , plenty of sword and fist fights scream , and the occasional peeping tom situations burning_eyes (which I will not go into, thank goodness sweatdrop ).
