This is an assignment. My teacher is pretty easygoing when it comes to stuff like this. As long as we had some rhymes and some mentioning of numbers, we were good to go! Enjoy!
I'm running out of time
It's hard to make a rhyme
I look around the class
See blank faces
Pencils tapping on desks
I think "This isn't a test"
The english teacher walks around
An evil grin spreds wide from cheek to cheek
He thinks "Ha! It's only the beginning of the week!"
He watches studdents struggle
Trying to write a poem about numbers
Ok so I pick number three
What's that hae to do with anything?
I thought I would only see numbers in math
Not in my english class!!!
I count the fingers on my hand for fun
Five fingers
Fifteen minutes left
Mu phone buzzes in my pocket
I check to see who it is
Three seconds to respond
I begin to write again.
School drags on forever
When will the end come?
