Fenix knelt down and put his hand on the ground. He focused his chakra behind him since that's where Asuka used to be. But Asuka wasn't there anymore. He just smirked and stood up to face Sindri and Toukun. Finally, Senshi came onto the scene to land on top of Toukun's head.

Toukun yelled out, "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be protecting the book!" The bird pecked his twice in response. "Oh, you hid it. I'm sorry. I didn't realize," he apologized. Senshi nod his head to seem to say that he forgave him.

"Book? Oh, you mean one of the sequels in the Come, Come Paradise franchise," Fenix said. It was a guess, but on the inside, he knew he was right.

"Um... erm... uh... n-no... that's not it," Toukun said, rolling his eyes every which way. Sindri rolled his eyes without a word in response to Toukun's idiocy.

Sindri spoke up, "Do you want to take him, or should I take him?"

Toukun put an evil smirk on his face and pointed the Sawfish straight at Fenix. "I say we both take him. He's annoying for just one of to take him. Asuka and Rin are out for the count anyways."

Fenix smirked again. Obviously, Toukun and Sindri didn't know that Asuka and Rin were in hiding for the moment. He had upmost faith in the two and knew they were planning something. He just needed to keep the two S-rank ninja occupied for the moment.

Meanwhile... Rin and Asuka were watching the three from the forest. Rin said, "It seems they haven't noticed we're gone. We need to find out a plan before going in to fight again."

Asuka sulked under a tree. She was still choked up that Toukun would honestly kill her. Rin knew what was wrong and sat next to her, wrapping her arm around the girl. "I know you're still sad about Toukun," she comforted. "But I know that deep in his heart, if you tried hard enough to get him back, that he'd come to the side of light just for you." Rin hugged Asuka and scooched back from her. Asuka smiled at Rin for saying that. She now felt that way, too.

Rin started, "Okay, we need to find out a plan to fight the two." Then the two started to plan out together and a few soft giggles left their mouths as they thought up some really perverted or relational steps in their plan.

Back on the battle field with the three male shinobi... the two former Akatsuki shinobi started to unleash their trapped tailed-beasts. Toukun's chakra turned a dark green again, and Sindri's chakra turned a light brown. It was like the color clay.

Fenix had studied up on his tailed-beasts before coming on the mission. He didn't know that they were trapped inside these two before, but now he knows. He knows that the seven-tailed beast is a badger in shape and controls mostly earth element. The three-tailed beast is a turtle in shape and he thinks it controls mostly water element. He wasn't totally cetain, though. But whatever the cost, he was in dire danger since there was water and earth where they were.

Almost immediately, two tails came upon the two shinobi. Both went on all fours. But they were different in shape. Sindri's went almost completely flat and his tail was rounded. His nails became extremely long and so did his toenails.

Toukun only had one and a half tails that weren't just stubs anymore. The tails took shape of one long tail with a sort of three-pronged tip and another tail half as big. He went on all fours and he still had his turtle shell. Technically, the animal the chakra took shape of is a tortoise. Finally, the bottom canine teeth grew immensely until they stuck beyond his lip.

"Oh, snap!" Fenix yelled out as he saw these enormous transformations. Toukun ran at Fenix at top speed while Sindri dug underground. "Where the heck is that dude going?" he asked Toukun, but no response came as he did an uppercut on the leaf ninja.

Fenix quickly strapped his forearm blades on and blocked the uppercut but still got launched into the air. "I'm totally exposed in the air," he thought. He swiftly shot out a metal claw at Toukun, but he dodged and got the ground instead. It doesn't matter to him. All he needs to do is get back to the ground. The chained started to pull quickly, causing Fenix to fall towards earth at a great speed.

After falling half of the way, the two ninja wind up for a strike. The swiped at each other, and they're striked each other in the face, burning each other from chakra, and scratching from their claws. Both of them fell to the ground and Fenix's chained claw came back to him. Fenix was the one that actually writhed for a moment from the strike, though. Toukun just stood up and his scratch healed fast, but part of his skin started to burn away from using his power to his full limits.

Fenix saw this and asked Toukun from the ground, "Why don't you have two tails like Sindri?" Toukun wasn't interested in talking and striked at the ground in front of the leaf ninja, making him flip backwards.

Then Toukun answered in a coarse, demonic voice, "It's because I have a three-tailed beast that I have only acquired half of the power. So I can only use these many tails. Sindri's limit is three and a half. But we'll only need to use two to defeat you!" Toukun lunged forward and stomped on the ground again to send earth and Fenix flying into the air.

Fenix was in mid-air on his back and saw he couldn't get back safe. He had a plan, but it was hard. While he was falling, the ground crumbled under his fall and Toukun had stepped back. The maw of Sindri's chakra shape could be seen.

"Aw, fudge! Not that!" the leaf ninja exclaimed. He twisted and quickly grabbed hold of the part that hadn't crumbled. He let out a sigh, but more earth crumbled. There was no choice but to run for it! He did and the earth kept crumbling and rebuilding as he ran. So this was the power of the seven-tailed beast. "Fudge! This is so annoying!" he yelled out while running.

Finally, Fenix noticed that Toukun was running for the lake with just one tail out. "Aw, man! Not now!" he yelled out again. Under his breath, he said, "Rin and Asuka better get back fast." The eighteen-year-old Fenix sprint towards Toukun, slowly catching up to him. Hopefully, Sindri would grab him instead.
