A goblin leaped into the air. Herio pulled his sword back, then swung. He made direct contact with the goblin. It flew back and hit the battle fence, dying on contact. Herio put his weapon away and looked around. Piros and Natsume killed the other monsters.
"Alright!!" Piros exclaimed. "We defeated the monsters!! Now, Herio, grab the last symbol fragment." Herio nodded and walked up the altar to the treasure chest. He kicked it and obtained the last symbol fragment. All the pieces started to shine and combined into the Judge's Symbol.
"Okay, now let's head for the Beast Temple." Herio said. He checked his map, then started to lead the way. Piros and Natsume followed suit. They had checked the whole map for any signs of Tri-Edge. Nothing. They still needed to check the Temple, though. They headed for the temple when more goblins attacked. Herio pulled out his swords and attacked. "Bonecrusher!!!" Herio span in a circle and hit all of the goblins with his large sword. They were all flung back and died.
"The enemies here are so weak." Piros said. They ran up to the temple. Herio held up the symbol to the door. It swung open in an instent. The group walked down the steps to the doorway that lead to the inner chamber. The door opened to another hallway. Down the hallway you could see a Gott Statue flotting in the middle of the room, a treasure chest at it's base. Herio looked stuned. "No." He said. He ran deeper into the chamber and looked around. "No. No, no, no, no, no, no!!! It's not here!! Damnit!!! I was tricked!" Herio punched the wall. Natsume put her hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay. We'll find him eventualy." Herio looked over. Natsume had a worried look about her. Piros was looking to make sure Herio didn't overlook anything.
"Herio is right. There is nothing here. Let's head back to town. I have an informent my be able to help us." Piros said. Natsume started to walk away. Herio looked at his feet and started to walk towards the door. Suddenly, there was a strange noise. Ping. Herio looked backwards to see a small blue ball floting down at him. He jumped back as the ball bursted into blue fire. Piros and Natsume came running back. A figure floted down.
He was wearing orange and black. He had teal hair with red wave symbols on his face in the shape of triangles. He had a large orange hat and a napsack slung across his body. He had belts around his neck and all around his legs. There were brown gloves that went up to his elbow. At first glance, he seemed like a glitch. Wait a second. It can't be. Herio pulled his sword out and braced himself. The figure pulled out two swords and brought them around in a half circle. He rested them infront of him and the opened into three pronged swords. Piros gasped and pulled out his lance. Natsume pulled her swords out.
"I'll kill you," Herio said, charging in, "Tri-Edge!!!!" He swung at the mencing orange figure, only to be blocked by his wicked swords. Herio tried to overpower him, but Tri-Edge pulled his second sword back and swung. It connected, sending Herio flying backwords. Natsume dived in, but Tri-Edge just blasted her with a wave of fire. She slamed against the wall and fell down, her swords falling beside her. Piros faired no better, getting smacked before he could even move three feet. Herio slowly got up, seeing his commrades falling to the menice. "I refuse to lose." He said. "I won't give up. I will kill you," He charged again, "Tri-Edge!! You basturd!!!!" Herio started to glow and put in a hit before Tri-Edge could block. Yes, "Tiger Strike!!!" Herio leaped into the air and slamed his sword down hard on Tri-Edge's head. The attack raised pillers of stone from the ground, which moved Tri-Edge backwords. A final shockwave sent Tri-Edge backwords, slaming into the Gott Statue. Herio smiled. "I did it!!" Tri-Edge growned. He slowly got up. Herio was shocked. Tri-Edge looked up and started to dash at Herio. Suddenly, he stopped. Golden rings appered over Herio's head, along with the others. They moved down and then up. In an instent, they were gone. Tri-Edge looked around, but they were gone. He quickly followed suit and disappered himself.

The battle replayed on a blue screen in the middle of a large room. There were several other screens, showing other places of The World. A large serpent bitting his tail circled the back wall of the room. A dark man stood at the helm. He had short yellow hair and was wearing a red toge with large red high heels. He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"Pi." he said. A women dressed in an skimpy pink outfit with large pink ponytails entered the room.
"Yes, Master Yata?" She kneeled slightly. Yata turned around.
"Looks like we have another canidate."
"I'll send Khun to look into it." she turned and started to walk away.
"No, I want you to look into this one." Pi turned, then nodded. Yata turned back to the screen. "Things are getting interesting."
