"MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday that goaltender Carey Price has been recalled from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. The Club also assigned goaltender Jaroslav Halak to Hamilton.
Price played 10 games with Hamilton this season, posting a 6-4-0 record, one shutout, and a 2.69 goals-against average. The 20-year-old goalie is 9-7-3 in 19 games with the Canadiens this season, averaging 2.90 goals per game. He led the Bulldogs to back-to-back wins in Manitoba (Feb. 1-2), allowing only one goal in 46 shots. Halak played 39 minutes over two contests (no decision) with the Canadiens this season and averaged 1.50 goals per game.
Price will join the Canadiens for Tuesday’s practice at the Bell Centre."
