4-3 Win
Game Preview: Montreal will try to shorthen the lead the three points lead the Senators hold on the Habs. While Montreal has been rolling the street of sucess, The Sens has been falling down slowly the cliff of no-victories. Roman Hamrlik will not be playing. He has the flu. So only two "good" defensemen. I'm not saying the others are bad but they are not as good as Markov or Komisarek. Cristobal Huet will start and so will Gerber.
1st intermission: It's really too bad that the Canadiens and the Senators might not have a chance to play each other in the play-offs, because it would be the serie to watch. Seriously, this is one amazing game that could turn out to either side. Even though Habs are leading 2-1 after our second line did his magic and scored to tic-tac-toe goals, Sens are putting as much energy to get goals. Streit is having a bad night and it shows, not statisticly. He's making more or less good plays. Gorges on the other hand, is turning out to be one heck of a defenseman. If only the leagued let teams use more defenseman in one game. Kovalev, Plekanec and A.Kostitsyn would be the three stars right now. If you're not busy, you must absolutely go watch this game.
2nd intermission: It's 4-1 Montreal after two periods! Plekanec got his second of the night! He also got an assist so it's a three points game for him! Huet has been great!! Amazing goaltending from him and I hope he won't stop. Neil is really irritating... He's been trying to get something going, but Komo and Tender didn't drop the gloves. I'm surprised! I'd thought Mike Komisarek and Neil would be at it about 2 times already!
Final: MONTREAL WINS IT 4-3!! Only one point away from the first spot in the North East Divison's and the Eastern Division's first place! What a game! If you missed it, you must watch the highlights! It had that play-off atmosphere and I envy everyone at the Bell Centre. Huet was really really good for us. He made key saves to keep us in the game. Ottawa played very well in the third period. It was a half comeback. It was basicly Montreal's second line that stole the show. The only thing missing were fights. Did I mention I envy everyone in the Bell Centre?
