4-2 Lost
Game Preview: Carey Price will start for the fourth time against Toronto. He has been incredible against Toronto. He has won three of the four games played against the Maple Leafs. If Montreal wins and Ottawa wins, Montreal will take the lead in the Conference. It should be seriously one heck of a game.
1st intermission: Tomas Plekanec gets his 20th but Toronto also gets a goal so it's tied 1-1 after one period. Montreal seems a bit slow in the start of the game. Toronto looks they want to destroy Montreal right now. Carey Price made good saves, and the Leafs' goal was a Montreal defense's error. The third line, Begin-Smolinski-Kostopoulos, made alot of chances and were great. The second line, A.Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev, had a beautie.
2nd intermission: This looks like a massacre even if it doesn't show on the scoreboard. It's 3-1 for Toronto. They are playing... well... ugh... i hated saying that. The powerplay is asleeped. We had enough chances to lead by 2 or maybe more but we weren't capable to capitalize. Man it looks like we're gonna lose this game... somehow. Carey Price has been good and so was Toskala. Yep. With a lead like this, a goal for the 29th best powerplay, we're doomed. It's the end of the world as we know it. We lost the game. Incredible.
Final: Harsh 4-2 lost against the Leafs. Montreal played badly with the extra man. an unorganized play led to an awful goal. But Montreal did have his moments. Kovalev had a simply amazing goal on a breakaway shorthanded. Carey gets his first career lost against the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't really his fault, it was basicaly everyone's. We underestimated Toronto and was too optimistic that we will surpass Ottawa.
