Chapter 2

As they walked everything was quiet.The only sound you could here was the wind whistling through the trees.As the sun rose up, Nathan decided to break the silence,"So um what are your names.""My name is Gadolp, and the elf over there is Diggory," answered the dwarf in a gruff voice.Then, Diggory suddenly said,"What is your name, and what brings you to these parts of Landrath?""M-my n-name is Nathan, and I am here because I want to run away," Nathan stammered."Why not tell us your story, Nathan, while we rest and have some lunch?" asked the Diggory."I guess," Nathan said with a sigh.Suddenly, Gadolp lifted him off his shoulder and onto the ground.As Nathan told him their story, they ate a wonderful cake-like dessert.They each ate 3 helpings of it and became as full as a pig on sloppy joe night.As the sun began to set in the west, they set off once more.This time, Nathan walked.As the stars appeared and the sun went away, Nathan saw a big, black figure ahead.It was in the shape of a pentagon and didn't move at all.Suddenly, Gadolp yelled out in the night,"Home at last!"
