Never did I ever think
I'd have someone so bold
The idea just wouldn't sink
I was just so cold
Snow and ice covered my heart
It was all there ever was
To keep it from falling apart
Life went on like it always does
But then there was a light
That just drew me in
That helped me to fight
And taught me to win
That light was you
