Ayu had left, she had left the Leaf Village. She had decided to go back to her real home. The Mist Village. Ayu's mother and father had a couple of close family friends over there and Ayu visited them whenever she needed to get away.
Ayu walked through the Mist Village, she sighed and remebered that life changing day. She closed her eyes, all of the memories of that night flying back into her head. She gasped and opened her eyes, wide eyed. Ayu panted heavily, she sobbed gently. She shook her head and started to run a bit before she got to tired and started to walk again.
Ayu stopped when she saw four legs hanging from a tree, she gasped thinking someone had been killed and thrown into the tree. She looked up only to find two boys sleeping. She called up to them, "Hey!" She yelled, waiting to see if they would respond. "Hey!!" She called a little louder until one of them woke up. "What?!" He screamed at her, she jumped a bit. "Sorry...I thought maybe you were hurt or something. I'm sorry." She whispered, shying away from him. "It's fine. I just don't like being disturbed from my sleep." He told her, and jumped down from the tree, he smiled lightly. "I'm Kyo." He told her, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm Ayu. Ayu Hoshi of the Mist Village." She told him, nodding her head. "Hoshi? I've heard of that name before. Hoshi Clan?" He asked her, wondering if that could be it. "Umm...yes. But...it's just me and my brother." She told him, making sure he had the story correct before he started asking a bunch of questions. "Oh..." He went quiet, and looked to the ground before he was disturbed out of his thoughts by the other boy.
The other boy jumped to the ground and stood beside Kyo. "Hello, I'm Jecki." He waved at Ayu. She smiled at him, waving back. "I'm Ayu." She told him, looking at him. "What are you doing here?" Jecki asked her, looking at Kyo who was listening to the conversation. "I'm visiting friends. I used to live here...but I had to move." She told him, not wanting to go into much detail about why she had to leave. "Oh..." Jecki's stomach growled loudly and he frowned. "How about we go get some lunch?" Jecki suggested, Kyo nodded and looked to Ayu for her answer.
"I would really like that." Ayu told them both and turned her head in the direction of the restaurant. They both smiled at her and they started off toward to get some lunch.
