After Ayu, Kyo and Jecki went to go eat some lunch they explored the Mist Village. All three of them ended up at Ayu's old house but came to find that it was gone. "No!" Ayu cried, running into the middle of the empty space. She kneeled to the ground, seeing broken glass. She found an old family picture of Ayu, Ryuu, Mother Hoshi and Father Hoshi and Yuudai.
Ayu grabbed it and cried softly. She shook her head and sobbed harder, she grabbed the picture and put it in her pocket. "Let's go." Ayu got up and turned away from the two, while they walked away. Kyo watched her, sadly and Jecki just kept quiet.
They all went to dinner. Ayu ate up quickly and soon fell asleep on Jecki's shoulder. Kyo and Jecki finished before Kyo carried Ayu to a local inn. They all stayed there till the next day. The woke up around noon. Kyo and Jecki left the room to let Ayu get dressed, they waited outside for her.

She dressed in a white summer dress with red bands around her arms and such. She smiled lightly as she exited the room. She was little happier but the memories of her parents death was beyond getting over. Ayu turned to Jecki and Kyo. "Why don't we go to the Leaf Village today? You can meet all my friends."
Kyo nodded, smiling brightly. "That would be really nice, Ayu. We should get going. We probably won't be there till late tonight." Kyo told her and so with that they all started going.

They were already in the Leaf Village but they needed a place to rest for the night. They were on their way to Ayu's house when all of a sudden twenty ninjas ambushed them. Ayu screamed as she was taken hostage by one of the ninjas and a kunai was to her throat. Her green eyes went wide-eyed and she stared at Kyo with fear. "If you want the girl back...we ask for a fee!" The lead man demanded, ordering for the other ninja to put the kunai closer to Ayu's throat. Ayu whimpered as the ninja smirked at her and started to run the kunai slowly across her throat, cutting. "KYO!" She screamed, crying softly.
Kyo was growing angrier by the minute, Ayu watched him in shock. Kyo cut one of ninja's arm and his blood went everywhere. Some landed on Kyo's tounge and he finally realized this feeling inside him was the craving for blood! He went crazy on every single ninja. When Ayu got away, she fell to the ground and crawled away, realizing Jecki was nowhere in sight. She shivered with fear, she brought her knees up to her chest and hugged them, crying softly in fear.
The lead man hit Kyo right in the gut. "You'll thank me for this later." He then ran off before Kyo could try anything. Kyo was on the ground and Jecki appeared next to him. Ayu quickly got up and ran over there as well.

Kyo woke up in a hospital, surronded by people he didn't know. "Hi, Kyo." Ayu smiled and he smiled back. She touched his arm gently as she introduced everyone. "That's Kai Hyuga, Ryuu my twin and Akari Sakomoto." She finished, smiling lightly.
"What happened?" Kyo asked, he didn't remeber a thing.
Ayu touched her neck, a bandage was over it from the cut she had gotten. "You got in a terrible fight with some man and other ninjas. Don't worry...just rest." She whispered softly. "Kyo, thank you. Thank you for saving my life...it was very kind of you." Ayu smiled and hugged him gently.
