Game Preview: After acquiring foward Steve Bernier, Sabres won 8-4 with two goals from the new comer. He will be facing Montreal for the first in his career. Carey Price is expected to start again after Huet's trade. If Habs win this game, Montreal will move to first in the division and surpass the Ottawa Senators.
1st Intermission: Habs lead 2-0 after one period! Wow! This team can score, and it's not only the usual! Well even though Pleky scored, on tuesday's game, their was different scorer. Well tonight, Streit also scored, amazingly too! He beats Miller from up close and shoots top shelf. Our defense looks good, and so did young Carey Price. He didn't have to make big saves, maybe only one.
2nd Intermission: Good game tonight! 4-1 Montreal after two periods. Tomas Plekanec gets a weird Hat trick. Three powerplay goals, and the third one was a more or less deflected shot. Mark Streit has 1 goal and two assists. A very good game for our powerplay. 3 goals/3 PP. Buffalo gets the ugliest goal this season against Montreal. It goes off the board and bounces off Carey Price's head. Great fight with Latendresse. A direct punch on the nose! It must have hurt! Oh my gawd, I think we might be at the Bell Centre. I keep hearing these "Ole Ole Ole Ole..."! Miller has not been bad, just unlucky. AND FOR ONCE WE ARE LEADING ON SHOTS! 23-20 for Montreal. This is incredible!
Final: With a 6-2 win against the Sabres, Montreal is now in first place of the North-East Division and second place in the Eastern Conference! Wow! Wow! Wow! Loving it right now! This match was absolutely wonderful! Tomas Plekanec gets his first Hat trick with only Powerplay goals. Great game from Mark Streit, a powerplay specialist, and Alex Kovalev. The brothers Kostitsyn are simply crazy! They scored a goal each once again. Latendresse dropped the gloves and won. Carey price made the necessaries stops and the defense was great. Habs scored 11 goals in the last 2 games and 21 in the last 5! Wow. This is beginning to look like a great Cup Contender.
