4-2 Win
Game Preview: Montreal continues their roadtrip at Pheonix and will face Wayne Gretzky's bunch. Carey Price will start for a fifth straight time. He will face his cousin, Shane Doan. The Yotes have won three of their last, though one was a 2-1 win against Dallas last night.
2nd Intermission:It's tied at 1 after two periods. Shane Doan, Carey Price's cousin, scores on a deflection of a Jovanovski shot. Before that, Tomas Plekanec gets a shot between the leg and it goes in the net. Price has been playing very well and he has many shots, especially on the first. PHeonix keeps putting the puck in our zone and they can't seem to clear it. Maxim Lapierre had two double minors for Highsticking. The second one was totally unreasonable. It's a good game, so find a way to watch it.
Final: Montreal defeats Pheonix 4-2. Carey Price made a good comeback after the 6-4 lost Monday, and got the better of his cousin, Shane Doan. The omnly thing that worries me is that he seems to be on his knees often. Alex Kovalev gets his 500th career assist and 502th. The Powerplay has gotten two goals on five chances. Montreal tops Pittsburgh and gets the first place in the Conference again.
My three Stars: 1-Alex Kovalev 2-Chris Higgins 3-Andrei Markov Honorable Mentions: Sergei Kostitsyn, Saku Koivu, Tomas Plekanec, Peter Mueller.
ScoreSheet: Montreal: Tomas Plekanec, Saku Koivu, Andrei Markov, Sergei Kostitsyn. Pheonix: Shane Doan, Zbynek Michalek
Next Game: Los Angeles Kings, MAR 8th.
