Okay, so I heard all these stories about being a rural JET. I heard stuff about everyone knowing who you are and everyone staring and everyone wanting to invite you over and bring you stuff and speak English with you. Of course, I thought it was all bull. So yeah, I took it all back the first night. Upon arrival to my little town in Okayama I was already scheduled for a homestay and got to see a tea ceremony, visit shrines, and eat out (and in) with my supervisor and his family. Ummm… I sat on a table. Not used to the low furniture. You’d think I’d at least be looking for it, but no… I sat on someone’s table. Oh yeah, I shared a room with my supervisor’s daughter. She’s about my age and seems to rebel against a super feminine image, which is awesome. However, the second I stepped into her room I was sucked in by the massive void of pink. Seriously, I’ve never seen such a girly room in my life. It was an anime girl’s room, fully equipped with Glay Cds, manga from wall to wall, HUGE stuffed animals, Gothic Lolita magazines, and pictures of her cosplaying. O.o So yeah, naturally the first thing I did was snoop around like a rabid fangirl. (Kinda wish I hadn’t though. She had more than Gothic Lolita magazines hiding in there….) 	xd There's something to be said for people who are snoopy and nosey. But forget that, WhaddidyoufindChiHUHHUHHUHHUHHUUUUUUH??? rofl Yeah, I'm a snoopy nosey person... That girl sounds like a bit of a contradiction. Rebeling against the "typical feminine image" and then....pink room with manga and stuffies and cosplay... xd Mind you, I guess there's a lot of girls that are like that in some sense though. Like you and me, Chi! We're not girly-girls! Screw that crap! 	It's true. o.O I go for the cute stuff! I can't deny it! But being girly outside of my house is like... annoying. xD I'm sure you understand. And well... let's just say I was reading through some gothic lolita mags, and then saw a few more mags with anime guys! Naked... anime guys! Naked anime guys... with... other naked anime guys....
