Death and Dismay
Hey peoples... could you start leaving comments so I know who actually reads my jounal... thanks.
Run (revised)
Takami pulled her long blonde hair back into a low pony-tail, and let her arms slowly drop to her sides. She sighed at the reflection that she saw starring back at he in the mirror. She looked over the reflection and shook her head. She wore her usual outfit which was made up of a black tank top, a pair of old trip pants that were more of a gray instead of the black that they once were, black boots that made their way up to her knees, and an earring. A single skull earring that hung down a few inches from her shoulder. She always looked the same, since she didn't really bother with getting new clothes. It was just a pain, and it meant less to take care of if she ever ran away. There was only one thing that she liked about this old outfit of hers and that one thing was the earring.

This little earring was special and she could never bring herself to take it off. After all it did belong to an old friend she once had. This friend lost his life in a battle about a month earlier. It wasn't a battle between countries or gangs. It was something more unforgiving then that. It was a battle to kill the cancer that was spreading through his already weak body. He had been winning for so long, but he got too tired after so many years of the battling and could no longer fight his long, unforgiving battle.

She raised her hand and gently brushed the earring with the back of it, letting it sway back and forth. If he could see her now, he would probably be frowning for what she was about to do was something he had told her not to do, no matter what had happened to him. She had told him before he died, that she would have to leave her family if he ever gave in to the cancer. He yelled at her and told her not to be so foolish, but he was the only reason she was staying in this hell. She loved her family, but they always put so much pressure on her and annoyed the hell out of her. And if they found out about how unforgiving the real world was, they would freak.

"Takami, come down or you will be late for school again!" Called a woman's voice from the other side of the door. Takami bit her lip that was covered black with her lipstick. She took one last glance over her appearance and grabbed her bag that was filled with clothes and few hundred dollars which would keep her alive for a while or so she hoped. She wasn't old enough for a job quiet yet, but she would find a way to get by. This wasn't going to be easy she knew that much, but she wasn't going to sit around and wait for something else bad to happen.

Walking to the door, she let her hand run along the side of her bed. This would be the last time she would feel its warmth if everything went as planned. Her gaze dropped to the floor and she saw her old wolf stuffed animal lying at her feet. A smile made its way onto her face as she bent down and picked up the torn up piece of fluff. One of its eyes was missing, its tail was only half way on, and there was stitches running along its chest, but it still gave her the feeling that she wasn't alone just like when she was younger. Her friend had given it to her for her fourth birthday and she hadn't let it go since. Especially now that he was dead. She shivered at the thought for him. He had been her first love and she hated thinking that she would never see him again.

She pressed the ball of fluff to her chest and she buried her face into the wolf's back. It was still soft just like when she had gotten it, but it smelled of smoke. Her brother must have gotten a hold of it, but why would he want her old stuffed animal? Had he planned on throwing it away again? She would have to kick his a** before her left. Takami shook her head and set her bag onto her bed. She slowly unzipped it and stuffed her wolf into it. Ok, she wouldn't kick his a**; he didn't throw it away so everything was good.

"Takami! Hurry it up!" Yelled a man’s voice as he pounded on the wooden door. Takami rolled her eyes and she zipped her backpack back up in response. Whatever he wanted could wait a few more seconds. She slung her bag onto her back and opened her door, showing her older brother. His shirt was half way buttoned, showing his tan chest that was perfectly toned, his hair that was still a little damp from his shower and he didn't seem to have managed to put his pants on since he was only in his light blue boxers which could have been pulled up a bit higher. He always dressed like that around the house though, so she really should be used to that by now.

"No pants today Mic?" Takami smirked and pushed past her brother, making him stumble to the side. He was a lot stronger then her, so her being able to push him to the side met that he wanted something. A low chuckle came from Mic as he wrapped his protective arms around his younger sister. Takami tried to shrug him off, but again he was stronger then she was, so she just sighed and let him do what he wanted. After all this would be last time she would get a semi type hug from her brother.

"Do you mind watching the tweebs tonight? I want to go out with Jess later, but I can't go if you don't help me out." Takami shook her head. "I'll pay you 20 bucks, if you do this for me." Mic let his arms drop to his sides and he walked around her and faced her. She glanced up at her brother, but quickly returned her gaze to the floor when she saw the pleading look on his face. He always did this and he always got her to do what he wanted. She was such a push over towards her family. If they asked her to stay, she probably would, but there is no way she was going to tell them what she was planning.

"If it was another night maybe, but I have already made plans. Sorry Mic, but you are going to have to find someone else to babysit for you if you want to go out with Jess."

Ok it's good so far, but I have a few things to say.

First- When you are talking about her friends battle, make it a little less confusing by giving a little more detail.
Second- Fix some of the grammer and stuff like that.
Last-When Mic dropped his arms and walks around to face Takami, make it so that instead of saying something like "Mic let his arms drop and he walked infront of Takami a pleading look on his face" making it sounds something like this "Mic dropped his arms to his sides and turned Takami to face him. His gaze pleaded with her to do this one thing for him and he would never ask anything of her again."

This is just what I think, you don't have to go with them if you don't want to.
