Try to fly on wings still broken
And the wounds still bleeding
Hearing the words unspoken
Wanting needing
Eyes glazed over with tears
Straining to keep in the air
Seeing all her worst fears
She can't see that they care
Losing the fight as she grows pale
Growing increasinly cold
She won't let herself fail
Not listening to what she was told
She starts to fall down
But she feels to arms around her
Seeing a face and a sad frown
Not recognizing who's there
Suddenly protected from the pain
Feeling the warmth of this person's tears
Slowly falling into a gentle rain
She realizes this new girl's fears
Reaching up weakly to touch her cheek
Wishing for an eternity denide
Feeling small and meek
Knowing in this girl she could confide
I loved a girl who I wish to see
But don't know If I ever will
She replied that girl is me
Now hush now my darling be still
An angel broken I may be

There's something inside that you see
