I'm writing these mostly for gold.... but that Korean drama is just plain out pitiful... Ok the reader's digest version: A girl had a good life until her mom died of eye cancer. Her dad remarried to a woman with a son and daughter. The stepmom treated her son and the girl like trash while spoiling her daughter. (A rich family btw). The girl had a childhood friend/lover who went overseas to study and came back after eight years. The day he saw the girl, she got hit by a car who happened to be her stepsister 'drunk'. The girl lost her memory and her stepbrother stole her away since he loved her more than a sister. For five years she thought she was a different person and was planing on marrying her stepbrother who she didn't know was her stepbrother when her childhood friend/lover found her. She eventually regained her memory after her stepsister ran her over... again... but this time it wasn't a hard hit with a lot of blood and stuff like the first time. Then it was trials and lots of running away from everyone until the girl and childhood lover started dating. Then the girl was loosing her sight and found out that she had eye cancer. She eventually became blind. Then she got 'tricked' into a marriage to her lover even though they wanted to get married she didn't know until they were at the altar. The girl got surgery on her eyes and the cancer was gone. The couple wanted the girl to see, but the only way cornea can be donated is unless the donor was dead. So the stepbrother killed himself and donated his cornea. Now she can see, but her ordeal was not over. The cancer spread again and she was going to die for sure. There was no cure. The couple was just sitting at the beach waiting for her to die.
It was a very... different... drama. There was more to it, but I'm not getting into details. A lot a lot a lot of crying. I think about every two minutes someone was crying. How the actors can do that... I don't know. It got to the point where I just couldn't feel sorry for them anymore. It was a DRAMA... sheesh. The first Korean drama I watched wasn't like this... I think I'm going to watch that one again.
