Slowly but Surely
Yesterday the wireless disappeared and I didn't have a connection until around 10 or 11pm. What did I do? I took my brother to school, watched The Seeker, washed the dishes for my mom, walked to the library, took my dog for a walk at the park, read, watched Rurouni Kenshin all before going to church later that night. It's amazing what you can get done when you don't waste your life on the internet. I think the internet has been slowly becoming addicting to me. I try not to let it become that way, but I never had internet access at home until I bought this laptop during the Summer. Getting on the internet everyday never really started until we moved into our house. When I stopped going to college and lost my job was when I would spend hours on the internet. I did look for a job during that time and even now I still am. I have an interview for a nanny position on Saturday and Bead Amore asked about having an interview with me too. I'm glad I'll be away from the internet now. I can get back to my beloved books which have been gathering dust on my book shelf while I'm online. Thank god I'm going to have a job at last.
