The dark may swallow you, and the light may help you.
But if you do as you should, and follow your heart,
Then you may never need their help,
You may never need to be swallowed to understand,
How everyone is controlling their own life.

So follow your life, and your heart as you should,
So you don’t end up as me.
‘Cause I have met the dark,
but said no the light,
So I will always be here,
Alone in the dark,
So I can understand what I did wrong.

But your life is different,
Choose while you can,
Because when you first have done something wrong,
You may never go back.
But the light will always be there to help you,
If you let it that is.

But even now, when the light is gone,
I can still go back to a good life,
If I only do something myself,
And let the world see me.
Never let your life totally go,
And don’t loose yourself.
Then let the sun tell you,
What road you should choose,
And follow that carefully.

Then one day, you can go back,
To the road you want to.
But then you should understand,
What the sun means to you.
If you hate it or love it,
That’s of your own choice,
But never let go of your own life,
Because you live it only once.
