Cym pairs with the foot loose, scholarly Lionel, son of Ky and Syan and inspite of all the work she does, always finds time for her man. After all he too understands book hunger and a longing for knowledge.

Due to the sheer number of descendants now residing in Von Karthaig both Castle and village have been expanded. Grandma Ellie has seized on the opportunity to make a number of improvements/ modifications to the entire castle while they are at it. The village has expanded to the size of a small town.

Cym and Lion have a son Mason who doesn’t mind books but would much rather be out with his dad and is from the age of 12 onwards and 10 years later, a daughter Lilanna or Lil. She has a little but of dad’s wanderlust but after being out on the road with him once, much prefers life with her mum where her minor talent of restoration is greatly appreciated. She can pick up anything and with concentration restore it to its original condition. She gets called out to ruins a lot and well paid for these side trips. She also gets a lot of artifacts and bits and pieces brought in to her. She doesn’t charge for the restoring of writings and tablets or scrolls etc.
