Update....sorta...
The other weekend we went down the street to our local Petco for a "Ferret Day" sort of thing that was hosted by the Three Rivers Ferret Council. After spending some time talking to the ladies that were there, we left and came back later only this time we brought along Thursday and Banzai. They fell in love with our 2 lil guys, and one even offered to waive the club fee in trade for Banzai (LOL, never gonna happen).
The one lady, Kathy was telling me that Banzai looks like a breeder male and asked me if he was one, I told her no, and told her he actually came from the store we were all in. She then had me check his toes for any other tattoos...Marshall tattoos one ear of all of their ferrets so to tell others where the ferret came from and that he/she was fixed and de-scented. So I looked him over and sure enough one of his toes are blue from tattooing as well. Kathy told me the reason his toe is tattooed is because Banzai was not to be sold as a pet, but rather to a lab for a test animal. U___U So really we saved him from becoming a test animal.
They all insisted that I enter Banzai into some shows...so our big boy, Banzai might just become a show ferret. ^___^
I asked Kathy how she got hers to have such great body mass ad shiny fur...she only feeds hers a BARF diet...(Bones And Raw Food). So I went and bought some frozen chicks and frozen baby mice to see if mine will even touch them let alone eat them. Naturally I have them in the freezer, in a clear bag between the bag of ice and the carton of ice cream. LOL!!!
After spending a while with the ladies, and joining their club...our 2 little guys were completely wiped out, so we left. However, when we got home, I looked over everyones toes....and found out that Cynnie is also marked on her one toe....so that means she too was supposed to go to a lab. So sad, I never realized that Marshall of all places sell to laboratories. So if you have ferrets, check their toes for tattoos if you have one that came from Marshall that is.
So we will be busy off and on...we joined a glass blowing class, and now will be involved with the Three Rivers Ferret Council. Oh, and we also have to get the house empty as we are getting the new floors at the end of the month. @___O Sooooo much to do...I dunno if we will be around a whole lot....we also still have to get my moms house done, which will have to wait until after we get our floors and such.
