WHOA! Anime North 08 was just so epic since it was my first time going all the 3 days and first time staying at Double Tree Hotel (a very nice hotel across from the convention, even voice actors stay there for the con). Many things had happened there... it was... wow XD
Well for Anime North, I had dressed up/ cosplayed as Altair from Assassin's Creed. I love that game so much! lmfao! It's rated 9/10 =D Well anyways, I was just walking with my friend who invited me. Then there was this massive group of people just yelling "ALTAIR, ALTAIR, ALTAIR!!!" Over and over again until I look at them. Finally, when I heard them, I jumped up and down and waved back to them, haha! basically everyone at Anime North IS your friend. Then there's about over 100 people who took pictures of me. I even heard many people walk by saying "Oh hey, its the Assassin's Creed guy." my name is Altair >.< lol. But then... there were 5 people said "Its another Altair!" That made me wondered so much since I've been here for a day (it was Saturday) and a couple of hours and I haven't seen one yet. My friend and I got tired so we sat on the grass outside of the convention where most people were resting too. So we sat around for a couple of minutes until I just have to spot another Altair. I ran as fast as I could since I might lose sight of her. Yes, it was a girl lmfao. But she was cool ^_^ I really liked her cosplay a lot. She even drew a beard on like Altair has with black marker. I thought that was pretty jokes but then again, its Anime North. ^_^ Another time I stopped walking to check my bag and then another Altair showed up! yes! another Altair! He was just standing there with his friend or sister... I dunno. So I got a picture with him too.
My friend felt bad for not having a cosplay so she bought a Gothic Lolita outfit at Anime North for $100. It was so nice and it was worth it too since it came with many pieces. A lot of people took pictures of her too and commented on her outfit. Ah, I wish I can do a group cosplay for once.
On Saturday, we watched people play Cosplay Chess. Wow it was epic. The cosplay they have was so nice! Well anyways, there was this Dante from DMC and Vergeil (sp?) and they had to fight each other in order to take that place. So Dante, he placed his gun IN his pants and said "Okay, lets go!" haha! it was so funny. So what they had to do is fight; they actually don't hit each other, just to let you know lol. There was also this small girl that looked around the age of 7 and she went as Temari. Her cosplay was pretty nice too. She also fought against Dante and Dante let her win ^_^ cute. Until some big guy pwned her XD
Also on the Saturday, there was a Gaia gathering group. Of course I went to it but I didn't know anyone or what is happening! So.. I just left XD I took a picture but then all the pictures on my camera got deleted I was sad about that but it was okay... I took pictures again lol. I wish I knew more people in the Gaia gathering group. Next time, I'll know for sure ^_^
Anime North was so great. There's so many things that happened there. I already (or going to) book 2 hotel rooms in June at Double Tree just for Anime North! But I have to hurry in case there would be no more rooms left. People go crazy and the rooms would all booked by November O.O and if I really want a good room... I need to come early. But Anime North is in May! ahh lol. Oh well, it'll be all good.
BTW, here are the Anime North pictures of me as Altair and other great cosplays! Some pictures are repeated because I need them for another site like Gaia and cosplay.com Also, some are blurry because I forgot to put the flash on so it won't focus the image that well ^_^"" I'm sorry.
